Host Taylor Weech interviews Larry Shook, a Vietnam veteran with PTSD whose search for effective healing has led him to horsemanship. He now works with his trainer, Nate Ostrander, and a wild mustang, Ah Kah Tah, to rewire the neurological damage done by war. Discussion of their methods, what PTSD looks like in the brain, how military training constitutes an injury to the brain, and what the outlook is for healing on a broad level from the collective trauma of war.
